Ground Turmeric

Sourced from an organic community garden in Fiji, it is grown without the use of chemical pesticides, herbicides or artificial fertilisers. Derived from the edible root of the plant Curcuma Longa, turmeric has long been prized in Ayurveda, where it's used to balance all three doshas. In fact, its name comes from medieval Latin 'terra merita' meaning 'blessing of the earth'. 

Today this sacred plant is reaching new levels of awareness and respect. The intense colouring properties and warming aromatic flavour of this unique spice make it ideal for use in everything from curries, rice dishes and soups, to comforting teas and tonics.
