Besan (Chickpea) Flour

Besan (chickpea) flour is produced by de-husking and milling brown chickpeas. 

It can be used as a binding or thickening agent in many recipes and is used widely in Indian and Middle Eastern cooking in pancakes, dumplings and sweetmeats.
